J&B Aviation Services can repair and upgrade your existing cables to provide you with the latest in technological design. J&B Aviation's experienced team will inspect and test your cable assembly at our ISO 9001 facility and recommend the repairs neccessary to make your cable serviceable.
Our connectors feature the patented Replacement Contact Section (JB7174) that allows for quick field replacement should the connector become worn or damaged. The Replacement Contact Section incorporates three unique seals for watertight assembly. Up/Down and On/Off pushbutton plug-in modules are available in the connector heads. It is impossible to install the Replacement Contact Section incorrectly, so there is no need for additional testing on a load bank.
In addition to our Standard Replacement Contact Section (JB7174) , we offer a patented Thermgard® Replacement Contact Section (JB7178) which monitors the temperature of the ground power connector at the aircraft, and causes power to disconnect should it reach it the predetermined setting (130ºC).
