The Baggage Chute (JB1850) is designed for easy transfer of excess carry-on luggage from the loading bridge to the tarmac for stowage by ramp personnel. The mounting design enables the Baggage Chute to change elevation with the loading bridge as it adjusts to service different types of aircraft. Quick transfer of baggage allows the aircraft to maintain its on-time performance as well as saves on manpower energy.

An optional Speed Retarder (JB1850SR) is available for installation-this is a pneumatic-operated arm that slows the baggage as it descends. This option is necessary when the loading bridge is raised to service wide body and jumbo aircraft. All component parts have been treated to resist corrosion for over twenty years of service.
