J&B Aviation's air start Hose harnesses the power of the starter, delivering it at full pressure and temperature to the plane. Our air start hose is light enough for one person to handle, the specially compounded silicone rubber tube withstands temperatures of up to 500°F, and a polyester reinforcement is added to assure high burst strength, dimensional stability and flexibility.
A special construction to withstand higher temperatures is also available.

Essential for protection of your air start hose investment is the scuffer Jacket. Avoid damage caused from dragging the air start hose over concrete and ramps-Iow profile scuff strip minimizes hang-ups on equipment and ramps. The Scuffer Jacket is a Lenoweave, consisting of closely woven, treated fabric with extruded abrasion-resistant rubber vulcanized in a spiral to the Lenoweave.
The Air Start Hose and Scuffer Jacket may be ordered in assemblies, separately by part, or in any combination. The assembly may be furnished with end fittings as required.
